Research is greatly encouraged by the residents during their time at BBH. Funds are allocated for resident travel to conferences to present their case reports and research, and residents travel across the country to present at various national and regional conferences. Our medical librarians are an invaluable resource to residents as they seek to publish their research in peer-reviewed literature. Research Week

Every year, all the residents from our graduate medical education programs participate in research week. This is where our residents submit an abstract and poster presentation for a case report, original research or quality improvement project they completed in the past year. The research week culminates in a research gala, where cash prizes are distributed to the top performers in each GME program and the best research produced in the whole system.
